T: Where are you from?

S: I’m from China. I’m Chinese.

T: Do you speak Chinese?

S: Yes, I do. I speak English, too.

(PPT呈现各国的人物)

Ss make dialogues like this in pairs.

T: Look, Jone is from America. But Ken is from Australia. So they from different countries.

Teach ‘different’ ‘countries’

通过师生以及生生交谈,潜移默化的引入到课文当中,并能够在其过程中处理生单词,能让学生在新课进行前先知本课所涉及的内容。

Step2.Presentation

T: Do you have any hobbies?

S: Yes, I do. I like taking photos in the park.

T: How about you?

S: I like taking photos, too.

T: Oh, you have the same hobby. You both like taking photos. Do you want to know my hobby?

S: Yes.

T: Can you guess?

S: Do you like taking photos?

T: No, I don’t. I have different hobbies. Now let me tell you. I like taking part in the English Club.

Teach‘the English Club’

由师生交流爱好,让学生猜想老师的爱好,接着老师再说出自己的爱好是参加英语俱乐部,这样不仅帮学生学习了新的知识,帮助学生加深了印象,还激发了学生学习关于英语俱乐部的兴趣。

T: Today, there are some new teachers in our class. They are visitors, please say Hello to them. Do you know ‘visitor’?

Teach ‘visitor’

   由听课的老师自然引出visitor,利用生活实际学习单词,学生易于理解。

T: Today. Our English Club has a visitor, too. His name is Tony White. The children are talking to him. Now let’s watch the cartoon, then try to fill in the blanks with the words missing.

(PPT 呈现问题)

Ss watch the cartoon.

T: Ok, let’s fill in the blanks.

Ss give the keys to the sentences.

T: Let's read the whole sentences loudly.

T: Very good.

通过让学生看卡通片了解课文的内容,学生感兴趣,而且一定程度上也降低了学生学习课文内容的难度。

T: Shall we read the text after the tape?

Ss: All right.

Ss read the text after the tape.

(PPT shows some picture of Shanghai)

T: Now ,boys and girls. Look at the pictures. They are in Shanghai. Are they nice?

Ss: Yes.

T: So we know that Shanghai is a big and nice city. Would you like to visit it?

Ss:(引导) Yes, I’d like to.

T: I’d like to visit it, too.

Teach ‘I’d like to visit it’

利用多媒体展现上海的景点,通过教师的引导,学习句型I’d like to visit it. 让学生在学习知识的同时还可以学以致用。

Step3. Consolidation

1. T: Now, I’l

Ss act out the dialogue.

通过小组合作和表演来锻炼学生的交际能力,帮助学生进一步熟悉语篇内容。

2. T: Look, there is a form. There are five children here. They are from different countries and they speak different languages. Please according to the form, imitate the text that we learned today, then make a dialogue like that.

Ss practise in groups.

Ss act out the dialogue.

让学生在学习本课的基础上,根据所学的内容编造对话,真正做到学以致用。

Step4.Homework

1.Read the text after the tape 30 minutes.

2.Write down the dialogue that we made in class.

 1、本节课教者采用了多媒体教学,学生参与度较高,课堂气氛活跃。如:课文的展示通过一段动画片来进行,形式新颖,学生很感兴趣。
2、新授之前,教者通过一系列师生及生生交谈,联系实际生活,处理了课文中的生单词和日常交际用语,为后面学生的学习消除了障碍。如:通过介绍听课的老师,引入了“visitor”。
